The year is 2028. The unemployment rate is 99.7%.
You receive your $700 UBI from the government.
You have 3 days to gamble it on a prediction market
to make your $2,800/mo rent on a studio apartment
70 miles outside Tulsa, OK.

"I’ve had dozens of conversations with founders and CEOs over the past few months, and the theme is remarkably consistent. Everyone wants flat headcount - or close to it - paired with strong growth. Some are even more aggressive: they want to shrink headcount while growing 40%+.

Most of the CEOs I know think half their team is still the wrong team. Not wrong in the 2019 sense of "not a culture fit" or "B-player." Wrong in the sense of: they don’t really understand AI. They don’t use AI tools daily. They can’t manage AI agents. They couldn’t architect an agentic workflow if their job depended on it. And here’s the uncomfortable part: their job does depend on it. They just don’t know it yet.

I’ve talked to founders who have invested heavily in AI training for their teams. The results? Mixed at best. Some employees get it. They become 3x more productive. They’re automating parts of their own jobs and reinvesting that time into higher-value work. But a significant chunk - maybe 40%, maybe 50% - just… don’t get it. They attend the training. They nod along. And then they go back to doing their job exactly the same way they did it in 2022. These aren’t bad employees by traditional metrics. They’re often experienced, hard-working, loyal. But they’re operating in a paradigm that’s rapidly becoming obsolete.

Here’s the paradox: nearly every startup I know is trying to hire more engineers. Engineering headcount is the one area where most CEOs say "yes, I’d add more if I could find the right people." But - and this is crucial - they don’t want the same engineers they would have hired two years ago.

Not wanted:

Developers who resist AI coding tools
"Good but not great" computer science grads
Engineers who see GitHub Copilot as cheating
Mid-pack graduates from non-elite CS programs
Developers who can’t context-switch between AI-assisted and traditional coding

Highly wanted:

Developers who are masters of AI-fueled coding
Engineers who can architect and manage LLM-based systems
People who understand prompt engineering at a deep level
Developers who can build with, on top of, and around foundation models
Engineers who view AI tools as multipliers, not threats
"

What’s unfolding in Minnesota is a psychosexual
drama where bored moms are begging big strong
men to throw them around.

Women have no idea how to drive when ICE is on the roads

I didn't believe Islam was taking over Minnesota until I saw the officer shoot that woman simply for driving a car

ICE agents are not curbs. You're not allowed to hit them just because you're a woman.

My favorite part of the ICE agents cell phone footage is when he calls her a fucking bitch.

The stupid prizes will continue until the games improve.

Простой Американский биллионер делится наболевшим: "Unfortunate update as of today: More calls from friends. The total wealth that has left California is now $1T. We had $2T of billionaire wealth just a few weeks ago. Now, 50% of that wealth has left - taking their income tax revenue, sales tax revenue, real estate tax revenue and all their staffs (and their salaries and income taxes) with them."

- Are you free on Sunday?
- I'm an American, I'm free everyday.

Из него даже трейл идет в сторону Lexington Reservoir по бывшему железнодорожному Right of Way но это я отложил до весны.

Самая банановая пальма первенства у Samovar Store in Mountain View.

"Larry and Sergey can’t stay in California since the wealth tax as written would confiscate 50% of their Alphabet shares.

Each own ~3% of Alphabet's stock, worth about $120 billion each at today's ~$4 trillion market cap.

But because their shares have 10x voting power, the SEIU-UHW California billionaire tax would treat them as owning 30% of Alphabet (3% × 10 = 30%). That means each founder's taxable wealth would be $1.2 trillion.

A 5% wealth tax on $1.2 trillion = $60 billion tax bill, each. That's 50% of their actual Alphabet holdings—wiped out by a "5%" tax.

Section 50303(c)(3)(C) of the 2026 Billionaire Tax Act states: "For any interests that confer voting or other direct control rights, the percentage of the business entity owned by the taxpayer shall be presumed to be not less than the taxpayer's percentage of the overall voting or other direct control rights."

This means if a founder holds shares representing only 3% of economic interest but 30% of voting control (through Class B supervoting shares), the tax would presume their ownership stake is at least 30% for valuation purposes, not 3%.

The wealth tax is poorly defined and designed to drive tech innovation out of California.

Finance major: I'm dating a model
CS major: I'm dating a model

"Google Guys Say Bye to California .. Sergey Brin is joining his Google co-founder, Larry Page, in reducing ties to the state where they built their fortunes. ... In the 10 days before Christmas, an entity connected to Mr. Brin, 52, terminated or moved 15 California limited liability companies that oversee some of his business interests and investments out of the state, according to documents seen by The New York Times. Seven of the companies — including those that appear to manage one of Mr. Brin’s superyachts and his interest in a private air terminal at San Jose’s international airport — were converted into Nevada entities.

Mr. Brin is joining Mr. Page, 52, in reducing his California presence. More than 45 California limited liability companies associated with Mr. Page filed documents last month to either become inactive or move out of the state, according to state records. A trust with ties to Mr. Page also purchased a $71.9 million mansion in Miami’s Coconut Grove neighborhood this week, according to a deed seen by The Times.

Another entity jointly managed by Mr. Brin and Mr. Page moved out of California and to Nevada on Christmas Eve, according to a filing seen by The Times.

The Google founders’ shrinking connections to California underscore the impact of a potential ballot measure that would affect the state’s wealthiest residents. Proposed by a health care union, the measure calls for Californians worth more than $1 billion to pay a one-time tax that would be equivalent of 5 percent of their assets. If the measure gains enough signatures to reach the state ballot in November and wins approval, it would retroactively apply to anyone who lived in the state as of Jan. 1 and they would have five years to pay it.

I agree with liberals that colonialism was a bad thing.
Giving third worlders roads and infrastructure and
modern medicine was a grave evil that allowed
them to multiply and travel here.

"The best lens through which to view this is how the abolitionists praised John Brown. He was a murderous terrorist who butchered the Doyle family, which had no connection to slavery, along Pottawatomie creek. That was his claim to fame, and they loved him for it

Then he tried to turn Virginia into Haiti by launching a slave rebellion. In addition to trying to capture Harper's Ferry so he could hand out rifles to the freed slaves, he brought along thousands of pikes, on which they could presumably spit the white women and children around them. He was financially supported in doing this by a collection of Boston-based abolitionists, and the Northern press, which cheered him on and framed him as an angelic hero after he was defeated and arrested for a treasonous rebellion in which he did nothing other than kill a few civilians, including a free black man

That brought about the Civil War. The South saw, with horror, how the abolitionists were gleefully praising John Brown for trying to start a rebellion in which as many men, women, and children would be butchered by pike-wielding free slaves as possible. Unwilling to let their farms turn into renditions of the Haitian white genocide, the South started mobilizing with a view toward war and secession, if necessary

What do we now see? A collection of leftist agitators who are funded by subversive billionaires like George Soros are continually trying to maim and murder anyone to the right, particularly whites. Criminals are let out of jail dozens of times so that they might inflict murder and mayhem, rioters are given a free hand to set what remains of the productive slivers of cities alight, and federal agents aiming to defend us from invasion are faced with murderous attacks and constant, debilitating riots. We are in the midst of a nationwide, slow-moving raid on Harper's Ferry by the sorts who garnered notoriety during the flame-filled Summer of Floyd

The John Brown case because a disaster because, though he was hanged, the government didn't ameliorate the concerns of the Southerners by arresting and hanging his financial backers, or by dealing with the subversive abolitionist press. That convinced them it was time to go to war

If we are to avoid such chaos again, all the leftist rioters, their financial backers, and the organizations that support them must be broken on the wheel of federal law enforcement

The left doesn't actually hold real political views.
They just hate White people.
Is it bad for White people? They're for it.
Is it good for White people? They're against it.

"One of the more interesting theories I've seen on here is that the devastating social changes that came in the 1960s happened because the government believed nuclear war was probably imminent. Take the destruction of cities

What used to be functional metropolitan areas full of factories, workers, capitalists, the middle class, and so on are now full of urban slums and their felonious, welfare-reliant denizens, some lawyers, and many financiers. If the bombs were to fall...the welfare class and investment bankers would be eradicated, which is hardly a crippling loss

Meanwhile, the factories have been dispersed all over the country, as have the people who know how to work in and run them. Maybe they'd still be hit...but tens of thousands of individual targets all over the place is much harder to deal with than a few dozen major cities and their industrial zones

Same thing with our diet. The shift from real food to processed food composed mainly of corn and soy derivatives seems odd, as do the massive stockpiles of said unhealthy calories...unless you think nuclear winter is coming and factory farming, paired with huge reserves of stored and processed grain calories, will be the only way to pull through; corn is much more useful than dairy cows in a nuclear winter

So whereas the hollowing out of the productive elements from cities, the warehousing of vast numbers of criminal elements in subsidized urban slums, the dispersal of industry, the massive expense on asphalt roads instead of rail infrastructure, horribly unhealthy dietary changes, and so on now seem bad...were one planning how to best increase the chances of recovering from a nuclear strike, dispersing the productive people and condensing the problematic elements while storing food the productive could use to survive would probably be the best bet

While this shooting was completely justified,
I do believe ICE should start slaughtering
liberals for no reason at all.

If we play our cards right, I think we can justify
using the Insurrection Act and banning female
drivers at the same time.

If we were smart we would just preemptively
burn down Minneapolis every couple years
to prevent rioting. A sort of controlled burn, if you will.

It can't be real 'regime change' unless it comes
from the Regime region of France. Everything
else is just a sparkling overthrow.

"Minnesota has spent years building an infrastructure of ICE watch patrols, NGO backed rapid response teams, and politically wired nonprofits that can flip from ordinary life to street mobilization in minutes. The key to Minnesota’s rapid mobilization is not Twitter activism. It is an on the ground surveillance and response network that local reporters have already documented in detail. A Star Tribune investigation into the “organized resistance to ICE” in Minnesota reads like a field manual for modern grassroots intelligence operations.

In south Minneapolis, volunteers spend hours driving what they openly call ICE patrols. Phones are mounted on dashboards. Every sighting of a suspicious SUV, every cluster of federal jackets, is recorded and dropped into Signal and WhatsApp groups that run silently in the background of daily life. Those chats are not small. A single Spanish language group described by local reporting grew from a few dozen members to hundreds as the federal crackdown began. One message that ICE is at a gas station, grocery store, or apartment complex can draw a crowd in minutes.

Volunteers position themselves near schools, mosques, and high risk housing, phones ready. Their job is to film, warn, and, when they choose, physically interpose themselves between agents and targets. When roughly 2,000 federal agents arrive in a region that has spent years quietly building an anti enforcement machine, confrontation is not a question of if but when.

The sequence looks like this:

* ICE surge and visible raids trigger heightened patrols and chat activity.
* A lethal incident happens. Video, rumors, and initial reports hit group chats and local media at the same time.
* ICE watch networks push urgent alerts, including locations such as the Whipple Federal Building and specific hotels.
* Within hours, local NGOs and national groups issue public calls to action. Protest times and locations spread across social media and encrypted channels simultaneously.

One organization appears repeatedly in any serious look at Minnesota’s anti ICE apparatus: COPAL, short for Comunidades Organizando el Poder y la Acción Latina. COPAL is not just another advocacy group. It runs a formal immigrant defense “rapid response” program that sits at the heart of Minnesota’s ICE watch system.

By late 2025, COPAL’s immigrant defense program had trained more than 10,000 people, a staggering number in a single state. Those trainees do not just sit at home. They plug directly into the Signal chats, patrol rotations, and rapid response networks that are now colliding with ICE in Minnesota’s streets.

They have a direct earmark from leading Democrats. COPAL publicly credits Representative Ilhan Omar and Senator Amy Klobuchar for securing federal funds for COPAL and partner ACER to develop the Primero de Mayo Workers Center in Minnesota’s 5th District. COPAL’s own statement thanks Omar and Klobuchar for their leadership and notes that these federal dollars will be invested in worker organizing and community power on Lake Street.

We need to get rid of 100% of Muslims in our countries.
And then 100% of Muslims in their own countries.

"The purpose of a system is what it does.

You have to understand that all these stories about fraud are not an example of Blue State mismanagement or incompetence. This is all very intentional.

The Left functions as a giant redistribution machine that buys votes and loyalty among niche electoral sub-groups at the expense of the taxpaying public.

Democratic-controlled states and cities have constructed a permanent administrative class whose very survival as a political faction depends entirely on the constant flow of taxpayer money to ideologically hijacked NGOs, nonprofits, unions, and charities.

These institutions then turn around and employ activists, mobilize voters, and often directly fund Democratic campaigns themselves.

It's not "mismanagement" or "incompetence" at all. The system is actually highly competent at ensuring money flows to the right people.

You're just not one of those people.
"
