We don't have the right to impose our values to any other country in the world be it political or social. Russia is a very conservative country and their laws reflect their way of thinking. By the way nobody is rounding up gays and jailing them except in the mind of some of the characters posting comments.
If somebody doesn't like it just stay home or better, visit some other countries that are more sympathetic to gays and lesbians.

While I agree that we may find Russia's approach to be wrong... we are being incredibly hypocritical here. After all, America pretty much had the same policy just 25 years ago. All that's different is time. So suddenly we believe it's our imperative to be the world's moral police because in the past 5-10 years we've begun the gay agenda push?
